Working together for a digital society
Initiative D21 e. V. is Germany’s largest partnership between political and business actors for a digital society. Some of Germany’s brightest minds are working together in our network to help shape the development of our society. Over 100 businesses and institutions have already joined, working together with political partners from the federal, state and local level on mutually beneficial projects to create a sustainable future for Germany. D21 is primarily financed by contributions of members and supporting members, public grants, and donations.

BECOME A MEMBER OF THE LARGEST NETWORK DEDICATED TO A DIGITAL SOCIETY
Shaping Germany’s digital society is one of the most important tasks of our time. Initiative D21 is a strong network, spanning across sector and party lines, offering a truly neutral platform for action. Together with politicians and representatives from ministries, our members and network partners share perspectives and debate ideas in working groups, research projects and at events. This exchange of ideas and transfer of competences at a precompetitive stage is vital for the digital shift.
As a non-profit organisation, we view ourselves as the government’s sparring partners about shaping the digital agenda. By taking part in D21 committees and projects our members can broaden their social responsibility and publicly discuss relevant issues.
